Re: Android and the future of RetroX
Interesting read. While I have had my issues with retrox over the years the fact it is still here and has been improving says alot.

Re: Can't update or add emulators
the app is not compatible with phones running Android10. The developer knows about the issue but does not have an Android10 phone to test and fix. Pretty much we are screwed for a bit.
I have been having this issue since the update on my Pixel2.

I will retry them once you update the emulator.

Re: Rob's list of games with issues and a few without
Game / System notes Grandia II / Dreamcast (played on Shield TV via RETROX / REDREAM) This game was great! Played great on retrox except few minor bugs. I switched over to another emulator but it was worse at first, missing much of the sound but he Dev fixed it quickly. I completed the game except ...

Re: Gamepad stops working mid game
This happens to me. Menu prompts still work (save/load menu), but I cannot interact with the ROM/game. Not sure what system you're using, but on nVidia Shield TV (2017), I double-tap the home button (next to start/pause), go to the main menu. Double-tap it again, and go back to Retro and my button ...

Gamepad stops working mid game
If I am playing a game with a long cut scene or just don't touch the controller for a bit, like if paused the gamepad stops working. I am able to access the menu screen. Ironically the B button will access the menu screen when this happens. I am forced to quit the game and restart. This isn't a huge...

Re: PSP, Recommended Games, Game Metadata Forcing, and Account Question
When I deleted the app there was another folder with retrox data. I deleted that one too. I had to do that once when I messed up my game saves trying to copy a Dreamcast VMU save. This probably won't help your issue though.
Yes Retrox needs to be connected to the internet. There is no offline mode.

Re: PSP, Recommended Games, Game Metadata Forcing, and Account Question
You can try deleting the entire app and all the data and setting it up again. Something might not have downloaded 100% correctly.
I am not sure the cores have ever been updated since I've owned retrox. Which is over a year.

Re: PSP, Recommended Games, Game Metadata Forcing, and Account Question
I just played MegaMan on my shield and made a save state. I was able to resume the game on my phone. I then made a save state then resumed the game on my shield. It seems to be working as expected. Now this was not perfect. First I never played psp on my phone so it had to download the psp emulator....

Re: PSP, Recommended Games, Game Metadata Forcing, and Account Question
I will test PSP when I get home. I have used PSP in the past with no issues. I only play PSP games on my shield though so I would not know about saving on another device then continuing the game on shield. If I have time I will load a game on my phone and test.
