I know this is now solved but i wanted to share another possible solution. I had this issue a couple months ago with the psx emulator. All i had to do was restart my device and everything worked great.

Restarted the shield and everything seems to be working as it should. I hadn't thought of this because I hadn't realized that the shield only sleeps unless you manually restart or unplug power. Thanks again for your recommendation!!!

Thanks for the reply. I can play the files with my epsxe emulator no problem. I will try and restart the device when I get home tonight. Hopefully I'll have good news on my next reply.

Update** the error says exactly " retroX multi emulator add-on has stopped". Then trying again it says " retroX multi emulator add-on keeps stopping". I then went to the link http://xtvapps.com/rbx and downloaded and installed the multi emulator add-on packages. I installed both....
