Adding shaders

I like some of the shaders on retroarch that allow curvature effect such as Lottes, but none of the retrox shaders feature it. Can I add shaders manually? Or how easy would it be to add some more?

You can send them to me via PM and I can add them to the app

I emailed shader details as I couldn't figure how to attach on a pm. Hope you can add them!

A good idea, is place all shaders files together in a folder then to compress the folder using one of the programs out there, say WinRar, WinZip, 7Zip.

then when finished, change the extension of the file created from say .rar or .zip to .txt

Email that file as a attachment, and it will go easily.

Then all Franco has to do is change the extension back to whatever you used, from .txt back to .rar or .zip.

Hope that helps. 8-)

I added the shaders, they are on the Beta version now, but they don't seem to work... at least to my eyes

Posted too early, this is what I get from RetroArch:

03-05 13:41:48.013 9678 9699 E RetroArch: Failed to load GLSL shader: /data/user/0/xtvapps.retrobox.v2/retrobox.packages/shaders_glsl/crt/shaders/crt-pi-curvature.glsl.
03-05 13:41:48.013 9678 9699 E RetroArch: [GL]: Failed to initialize shader, falling back to stock.

I'll try to see what's going on

I found the problem! The folder structure was wrong, the glsl files should have been under a "shaders" folders according to the glslp files.
Now they work!

Hey thanks. Great you got them working. I like the curvature mimicking the CRTs. Will it be release channel soon?
