RetroX on iOS

Postby natemac00 » Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:04 pm

So I have a developer account for iOS and just added iOS 13 to my iPad Pro.
I was able to connect 2 Xbox One S controllers to it and play split-screen Riptide GP: Renegade.
I was also able to connect a USB-C USB drive and access the files from it in the Files app, along with Dropbox & Google Drive...

Any possibility in the future of a Port of RetroX to iOS?

Sorry I don't think there could be a port of RetroX to iOS.

Two main reasons:
1) It would need to be built from scratch
2) It won't be allowed to be in the Apple Store

Supporting iOS is just too much work to offer the app for a few users only, also considering the work needed to improve the app for current users, I prefer to work in the latter.
