Scummvm config help

Postby zulu » Sun Nov 25, 2018 8:40 am

http://www.retrox.tv/scummvm-games/

I have followed the guide and can't get it to work, I have tested this on the PC and confirmed the roms is loading.

If I extract out the zip and named the folders as per the guide, when I scan the folder no games shows. When I use the zip, the game doesn't load. It just go to the green text emulated console.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try them uncompressed. Which games are you trying exactly?

I don't think your guide is complete: http://www.retrox.tv/scummvm-games/

I followed this guide https://hyperspin-fe.com/forums/topic/35312-tutorial-scummvm-with-retroarch/ and things look better, games were missing the .scummvm file in their folder.

The game is showing up now in retrox and when I try to launch the game it just crashes out.

I have tested the game and it is working fine for me in retroarch.

The guide is complete, RetroX will create the .scummvm file for you.

What I can see is that "fw" is not a supported game (yet), so it won't work with RetroX.

Tried scanning for disk world which is on the list, it doesn't detect, it doesn't create the scummvm file. I tried in retroarch no problems.

RetroX creates the scummvm file and store it internally if it can't write in your external drive.

You don't need to create the file, in fact RetroX will not look for it.

ScummVM works as stated in that file unless you are running Android Oreo which broke the version included with RetroX.

I've just tried it out just to be safe:

Hi Franco,
It is nvidia 7.1 so it is Oreo. Thanks for the heads up.
