Mame: Sample Sounds question

Is possible to add Samples to MAME games manually?

Try adding the file to the samples directory, like this:

dkong.zip (rom file)
samples/dkong.zip (sample)

Currently, RetroX will download a sample pack if the game is known to require them.
If you have better quality samples or samples that we don't have, may be we can add it to the pack.

Thanks I will give it a try tomorrow.

I got 2 games so far that are missing the sample sounds:

1) Eliminator
2) Vanguard

I do have the sample files, I rooted my NVidia Shield Tablet and I was wondering if there is somewhere where I can add the files other than the ROM installation Folder.

/data/data/xtvapps.retrobox.v2/retrobox.packages/mame/samples
