Hi Franco,

How about giving us the option to save the cache of the artwork wherever we like, that way, if we have very little space on the internal memory, then we can let RetroX know where the cache is going to be located. (External or Internal memory)? ;)

I think that might be problematic because Android apps have no write permission on external storages.. maybe a setting-selection between cover saving in cache memory OR internal storage(harddrive) is possible. But i am not sure if many users really need this option.. i mean, even if you have a collection about 10.000 games and each cover/picture needs 50-100kb uses approx 800MB..

With the current code I think that I can make it dinamically look for storage alternatives from external to internal, and from persistent to cached:

Priority: external storage -> internal storage (files) -> internal storage (cached)

And add an option to force it to use cache only storage.

I did the update, re-scraped my art. but find the load up of my game covers still takes 30-60 seconds.

If your network connection is slow to our servers that would be expected, but once the covers have been downloaded they should display with no delays. Can you check that?

The actual scrapping of the art work is really quick. But when i start retrox the art takes 1-2 mins to load. Is there a setting I can check or anything I can do to trouble shoot?

Record a video to see the exact sequence, record from the point when you start the application.
