i mean the following situation: i choose a amiga game. Now i want to try another game. How can i exit the running game and go back to the title selection screen from RetroX? Is there a button combination on the controller to do this?

On my shield I can hit start/pause button and the back button. This brings up a menu where you can exit the game. It used to work with the green voice button on the controller, which was fantastic. But now it doesn't work anymore.

The guys from Nvidia changed the green button behaviour, it is not available for apps anymore
And yes, START + SELECT brings the in-game menu. Every time you start a game there is a screen telling the user that button combination

Is there a way to do it on mobile or do I have to connect a joystick?

I tried exiting an amiga game using 'back' as the documentation appeared to be saying would work, but it simply crashed the emulator (locked it hard and had to be force terminated). Which quit it I guess but isn't that friendly.

I wish there was a way to disable the Home button on the Nvidia Shield controller. So many times I've been playing a game on RetroX and accidentally bump that stupid button and it exits me out of the app.

Yes the damn home button is horrible. We can not even pass the controller around without hitting it. We have resorted to placing the controller on the table and letting the other person pick it up. Some games you can go back in and continue playing. Others it boots you right out of the emulator and you need to start over.
