Gamepad suddenly stops working on Fire TV 2 (in game)

My gamepad regularly and suddenly stops working on Fire TV 2 while I'm playing games. If I press start + select I can use the gamepad again to save state or load state or exit.... If I exit and start the game again the gamepad will resume working.. until it freezes again (could take 5 minutes, could take 30 minutes). This is really a bug within RetroX and it only happens inside games...

That's really strange. I would think the gamepad shut downs to save energy, but if you can open the menu then is working.
If the gamepad shuts off then on again it may receive a different input device Id or port so it is not recognized as being the same gamepad that started the game, thus ignored.

I can send you a test version to see if that is the case and make a workaround to it, if what I say is correct, it will be an special option or it will brake compatibility with all the people that use more than one controller with one dongle.

Hi Franco, this happens with my wired gamesir g3s and my amazon gamepad model 2. I would be willing to try the test, that would be great
