PC Engine 6-Button Control

Hey Retrox team,
Is anyone else having issues when trying to use the 6-button control on PC Engine CD games? Im using the Shield TV control and mapped all my buttons in the settings. When you start playing a game, it automatically starts with the 2-button control and everything works great. Once I hit L2 to switch to the 6-button system, my game character seems to move in all directions by itself as if I pressing all buttons at the same time. I can't gain control of the character until I hit L2 to switch back to the 2-button control. Seems like a glitch in the button mapping maybe. Let me know if I should be doing something different.
