Saves states missing mame

Hello. The save state option when using mame is missing. All I see is cancel, help, quit. I'm sure it was there previously?

Only MAME 2003 supports saving states. That's why you saw it before, probably you played a game using MAME 2003... or, you saw a previous version when those options were in the menu for other MAME versions, but they didn't do anything.
