So wanted to say I just picked up a NVIDIA Portable off of eBay for $120 and RetroX and it's emulators runs beautiful on it.
I've only got to play for a few hours so far and it seems to run PSX, N64 & Dreamcast at full 30FPS with no noticeable delay. I'm still trying to figure out how to install Dolphin Emulator on it, for some reason it's not taking.
What I haven't tried yet, is you can use the Portable as a mirror display to an 1080p TV or use it as a Console with 4 Shield or Bluetooth controllers... Well worth the price for something that came out in 2013.

Although this is where "Offline Mode" will shine when I'm on a plane.

Re: NVIDIA Shield Portable
I guess you’ve probably figured it out by now but any recent version of dolphin will not run on the portable. Old versions will though.

I did figure out that the Portable is only 32bit, which Dolphin can’t handle. Thanks
Re: NVIDIA Shield Portable
I think it was 4.0.2 was the last 32bit version.
