Rightly or wrongly I am using hyper spin as a yardstick here. Videos in flv & MP4 format play fine and yes I am on a nvidia shield.
The current aeon Nox style one I am using has 3 videos playing at once on the preview screen.
And no problems for using an xml file for maybe the games list lookup to allow patching to videos, images, descriptions, ratings, etc.
Franco, you know you can perform miracles retrox just plays the games that took me hours and days to get the right configuration on and some like reicast lol I STILL can't get my version running as smoothly as yours.
Keep it up top man

Wow, Luka's interface is beautiful. If we can get something like that on RetroX I'd be over the moon. I love the way the game information screen shows info and screenshots about each game. That would be great!

Theres the link for the test of 3 screens

General consensus was to change into this one below that is currently in use (though the project itself has been abandoned but all the files are there so I use it along with another theme)

Both links look fine... that would I say if they were screenshots.
I don't know if it's my computer fault but they look like missing a lot of frames

Re: New user interface with THEMES support
I wasn't able to work on RetroX for some time, but now I have some good news.
The video that starts this topic is RetroX running with themes as a proof of concept. This is, the code is running inside RetroX but it doesn't use RetroX, it only uses the basics: systems and games. There is no accounts, no way to start a game, etc.
Once that proof of concept turned out successfully, I started the real work which was to make RetroX be able to be themed. That is almost like creating a new RetroX app but with some existing code. The good news is that just a few minutes earlier and for the first time, RetroX is booting up with the themed user interface.
This means that this new version should be released in less than a month, because the boot was the biggest change and now it's done!
