Re: [REQUEST] PS2 Emulation on RetroX
RetroX uses older retroarch cores. So they're missing updates in compatibility, new features etc. But then again, some updated emulators like Mupen64plus-nx are broken now. Also, still no Nintendo DS support.

Re: [REQUEST] PS2 Emulation on RetroX
Yeah virtualjaguar sucks. It's laggy and full of graphics issues. It hasn't been improved in about 10 years. There is an emulator called Iratajaguar that runs pretty perfect. But unfortunately you have to buy it and it's closed source. Same with their 3do emulator Real3doplayer. Runs better than 4D...

Re: [REQUEST] PS2 Emulation on RetroX
It comes down to the emulation I think. Some emulators just suck. Some emulators favour accuracy over performance, and some emulators also have hacks or frameskip that improve performance. No idea. But there are emulators that run like crap (like virtualjaguar) and could do with a LOT of improvement.

Re: [REQUEST] PS2 Emulation on RetroX
There's a PS2 core on Retroarch now called Play! but from my experience it's a bit slow. Unless it's improved a bit since the last time I used it. And I don't know of many Xbox emulators. Let alone any that are open source.

Support for other systems
Just a couple of other systems I think could be added to RetroX - Nintendo DS - NAOMI/Atomiswave - Virtual Boy - PC Engine Supergrafx These would probably be the easiest ones to add at this point in time. Others I think in future could be (although these could probably not be possible right now) - G...

Re: CHD file extension support?
Noticed the developer has not commented on this feature.
I could send him/or anyone a sample/couple of CHD files for Dreamcast, PSX, Sega CD, 3DO (or even Sega Saturn) if they are willing to test it out.
Just saves a hell of a lot more space on whatever storage you're using.

Re: Redream and Drastic emulators
I would like to see Drastic as well. But, it's closed source and paid only. So it only leaves us with Desmume which sucks or MelonDS which was started but never finished. Also IrataJaguar and Real3DOPlayer are the best Jaguar and 3DO emulators around, and the only ones that actually work properly. B...
