Exactly the same issue here.
All my games disappeared except for two. If I force a rescan nothing appears. If I add individual games or folders (for Amiga, say) they appear but then won’t run and all my custom settings for each game have disappeared. This is bad!

And one year later... I am running HardKernel Odroid N2+ with their own Android 9 Pie. I considered the H2+ on x86 but decided to stick with ARM for now.
