RetroX is fantastic I have all my Nintendo and Sega games running perfect but I am having major problems with MAME

I would love to have some of the classic arcade games on my shield , Space invaders, Pacman, Donkey Kong etc et and esp Moon Cresta a game I loved playing in the very early 80's

I have tried differnt roms for diferent MAME verions and 99% of them just crash RetroX complety , although I have the oriignal Space Invaders running perfect

Can anybody point me in te right direction of a romset that works with RetroX on the Nvidia Shield ? Please ?

Mame is a pain I have never had a 100% success story, you are downloading a rom and you don't know which set it is, the file names are the same.

I know console ports of the games are not 100% true to the arcades, however you would have more success there because its one hardware one rom.

Have you tried a dedicated mame emulator or retroarch? They update their codes more often, and if it does not work there you might have a corrupted or missing rom set.
