[REQUEST] Android TV 8.x launcher intergration

Since the Android TV 8.x launcher changed on my Nexus Player, would it be possible to have RetroX moved to the "Games" section and have the ability to make it a "favorite" so its accessible on the main screen? Possibly with "recently played" displayed on the main screen?

RetroX has the required declarations for Android TV to show it in the Games section, unless they require something new that I'm not aware of.
In any Android TV system that I have tested (Shield, Xiaomi), it appears in the Games section as expected

android Oreo seems to cause a slew of issues with older app not designed for it. Now I can see why Nvidia shield is not wanting to upgrade to oreo. I heard my mibox is getting it soon. I hope it never happens.

I've just looked up for Oreo and I found this:

But, to target RetroX for SDK26 I'll need to do more changes than this one, but it's doable.

In Oreo retrox is placed along with other apps. Not in the game section. Oreo launcher is annoying if apps are not targeged for it. But having the ability to add it to favorites so it doesn't take multiple click to open an app helps.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help or test since you don't have Oreo yet.
