I'm hoping this is an easy one to fix.
All other systems work fine.
I have a network share where I keep all my psx games. When I select PlayStation, all the games show up, but when I try to launch them it just sits there with a spinning circle in the top right corner and doesn't do anything else.
I've tried it with the game files in a zip file as well as extracted into .bin and .cue files. Some say track1, track2, etc.
I have loaded the scph1001 and scph5501 bioses.
Am I missing something?

Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
Having similar problem, everything was working last month. Not sure if there was any updates. I was on beta version, however I have tried to reloaded retrox public release to test and its the same.
Tested using retroarch everything works no problem.
I think it's easily replicable, if you need logs please let me know.

Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
Here's a bit more info I've found.
I reloaded the BIOSes, and the 1001 BIOS loaded up just fine, but I get " the selected file {path} doesn't look like a known playstation BIOS v5 file."
I don't remember getting that message before (maybe I did get it, but didn't pay attention to it).
I've tried all the BIOSes I have and get the same message for them all (5000, 5500, 5502, 7000, 7001, 7003, 7502). I don't appear to have the 5001 BIOS RetroX asks for, thought it was the 5501, but my ability to skip over some of the details has caught up with me again.
I'm thinking this is my issue with the games.

Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
Let's wait for fcatrin retrox uses the modified retroarch core and theres no problems there. I didn't specify any bios either.
Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
Not sure something was updated, just tried and PSx games are loading and working again.
Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
Lucky you!
I still have to use ePSXe to play them. It'd be nice to have all the games load from the same interface.
A couple of them will launch, but most won't from Retrox

Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
I have one psx game that will load and several that won't. All are showing up in the PSX menu. I too have the spinning circle in the top right of the screen, which will not go away. I have installed valid psx software as they work in other emulators. I too would really like to know how to fix this as RetroX is the best for having everything in one place.

Re: Psx not loading on nvidia shield
My games are loading now. I moved some games from Dropbox to retrobox and I think I may not have given it enough time before trying them.

Local storage is always the way to go for roms.

Well, I don't know what happen but everything is working fine for me. I haven't seen Franco replying recently, only assuming he is busy updating and preparing for the next release.
