Controller profiles

I had this issue last day, I use an android TV box and I usually play with my arcade stick, but sometimes I like to take the tv box for a walk and go play with some friends. In those cases, we use different controllers (take out the pads for portability) and it's a real pain to reconfigure all controls without cleaning the arcade stick config, so in the end you end up reconfiguring everything two times, when you go out and when you come back so it has same config as before...

Is there a way to just switch the assigned controller profile for each player? if there is any, I'm failing to see it.

You don't need to setup the controller again. Just go to the Gamepad mapping screen, press only one button on your controller and save.
RetroX will remember the mappings for each controller, so you need to tell it only where is connected after you swap it.
