RetroX audio delay on Nvidia Shield

Postby Ren666 » Sun Jul 10, 2022 1:38 am

I have a strange issue on both of my nvidia shields using retrox. At first I thought it was happening with the ps1 games (castlevania symphony of the night specifically) but yesterday i tried play super Mario world on the snes. The audio is delay by about a second. I tried Uninstalling and reinstalling retrox with no change. I tried changing some of the options with little success, I was wondering if anyone else has or had this problem and if anyone knew of a solution?

That's a LOT of delay. Reinstalling RetroX will not fix it.

There are two settings that you can check in your Nvidia Shield -> Device Preferences -> Display and Sound

Display -> Advanced Settings -> Automatic Game Mode
If that option is disabled, make sure that you have Game Mode turned on in your TV

Sound -> Advanced Settings -> Audio / Video Sync
Make sure the ball makes the sound on sync

I hope it helps
