Sony PSP and Atari 5200 whte screen/freezes system

Hello all. I'm having a weird issue with PSP atari 5200 games on retrox. It goes thru the process of installing the necessary emulators, i click a rom, the screen turns white, sometimes even freezing my nvidia shield completely. Atari Roms are in .a52 format, PSP roms are in .cso format. I know for a fact before the update the PSP emulator was working. I've tried multiple romsets. I've cleared data, cache, even uninstalled retrox completely, no luck. any help would be appreciated, thanks.
