Hi All,
I've read through the available documentation and tried to troubleshoot this myself but am coming up blank.
With games that have a hyphen "-" in their name, RetroX sometimes displays these with a colon ":".
These games aren't properly finding the artwork I've placed in folders using the standalone method.
Example:
Choplifter III - Rescue-Survive.sfc is displayed as Choplifter III: Rescue-Survive
I can't figure out what to name:
Choplifter III - Rescue-Survive.mp4
Video file is located in this path:
retrox/artwork/videos/snes/Choplifter III - Rescue-Survive.mp4
I've tried about a dozen variations to see what may work, any ideas?
I seem to have the same issue on all games that add ":" into the display name.
Thanks,
Jimi

Re: Artwork Naming: Games with Special Characters
If anyone ever comes across this, I've found a solution.
For games that have a hyphen replaced with a colon, the artwork will need to be adjusted with an underscore where the colon is.
Example:
Pitfall - The Mayan Adventure.32x
Displayed as: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
Artwork naming should be adjusted to: Pitfall_ The Mayan Adventure.png
This is what worked for me.
Discovered by testing out Launch box for Android and looking at the naming used in the downloaded artwork.
Thanks,
Jimi
