What % of covers and info should show?

Hi there,

Currently running the trial but I am looking to purchase. One issue I have is it seems a very lowest % of my games has meta information such as what year it was created etc. Are games like super Mario world for SNES supposed to have this information? I'd say about 60% have covers downloaded but 90% of those dont have information or extra pictures of the game. I am experiencing this issue with NES , SNES and Genesis.

If this is normal I can live with it but I was kind of expecting more in that regard.

One last question... What makes retrox recommend games? I only have one SNES and one GENESIS game recommended.

Currently that's normal. We are uploading more data about the games but it's a progressive work. Just last night I uploaded 1000+ artwork for Playstation and we will be uploading more as it becomes available.

The Recommended Games is a list of games picked by hand. Those are around 30 games for different systems, but you will see only those that you have in your collection.

Yes, it still just an idea, but the direction has been set. There will be community provided artwork and metadata.

Thanks for the info! Are all the hand picked recommended games listed anywhere? I'd like to get them all so that it fills the main screen more. I think it adds a nice touch.

Is it right, that the cover art is downloaded local or is it permanently downloaded again? I can not see the status of the already downloaded covers - a button and a ststus bsr to start this process manually would be nice.

Download is by demand, or it will make everything slow at the beginning, not to mention a considerable increase in bandwidth use for artwork that people may never view.

Once the cover is downloaded, it is never downloaded again unless you use the option Device -> Clear -> Images
