Nvidia Shield Portable - Random Hangs Ups, Shut Downs

I received my Nvidia Shield Portable, I love it. Having some issues with RetroX though (Retro X definitely not running as good as on the GPD XD). Sometimes I'll look for a game or pick a certain console, and it will just sit there. Like, it will will flash like its going to show the list of games, but the list a games never changes. If I pick a game, sometimes it will just sit there and not load the artwork or info, I am also not able to hit the play button. If I sit there and wait for it, it will either do nothing, or the app will crash. Sometimes it will become very sluggish moving around the interface and the app will crash. I force close and go back it, it will work fine for a while, and it runs great. But eventually it will do it again.

I'm running LineageOS (Marshmallow based)

All those symptoms look like coming from an unstable network.
Note that your device / network may be connecting well to other sites, but not to the RetroX backend.

Try this:
* Restart your router
* Force close RetroX in Settings -> Apps -> RetroX -> Close

I'm going to play around with it more tomorrow. It could be the operating system, they having supported this device for very long. I will definitely keep you posted, thanks for responding.

It does appear to be a slow WIFI issue. Speed tests are all over the place, went back to the stock operating system and seems noticeably better. Will continue to test and keep you posted.

It's something to do with Lineage 13/Marshmallow, Haven't noticed any issues on stock/Lollipop.

Is there a Neo Geo Pocket emulator?

You can use MAME or FBA for NeoGeo, just make sure to add the neogeo.zip file
