I still don't have the control. It wasn't where it was supposed to be, I've asked a friend now

Was there ever a fix for this? I'm having the same problem on both the GPD XD and the Nvidia Shield Portable.

It will as soon as I get a device that have the problem. I don't have the problem with mines, so I cannot fix it :-(

I agree I am seeing the same issue here as well. I am using a Shield TV and a Shield Tablet with a Shield Controller and Xbox One Controller. In all cases the dpad is not being recognized in N64 games. Is there anything that I can do to assist with this issue?

Thank you! I just tested on the shield tablet with the xbox one controller and it works perfectly. Will try it out tonight when I get home on the Shield TV and Shield Controller.
